The very first meetup for the Sew What You Love! Sewing Circle was... how shall I put it... a great success!
A lovely like-minded bunch of ladies came together for breakfast with tea and coffee at the very cosy award winning Croft Tea Room in St Mary's Cray High Street.
A couple of hours passed too quickly and lots of ideas were exchanged with huge spoonfuls of enthusiasm to take the group forward. I'm absolutely delighted to have started the group and thrilled the first get together was a success. Already I feel as though I'm going to have to pull my socks up and sew something brilliant to show off! There will be no rushing or botching and throwing things up in the air (have taken a moment to pause and repromise this to myself!) instead, taking my time to create something wonderful that I can actually wear and show off no matter how long it takes. Cannot wait for the next meetup :-)
